Solveforce Makes Bold Move To The West Coast Of Portland, Oregon Offering Transpacific Fiber Optic Cable

Solveforce Transpacific Fiber Optic Cable

Solveforce is opening up the west coast area of Portland, Oregon with their Transpacific Fiber Optic Cable services November 2015.

Portland, OR (PRWEB) - Solveforce and affiliates are making the long-awaited expansion of Transpacific Fiber Optic Cable (http://transpacificfiberopticcable.com/) to the west coast of Portland, OR. These services will be available to commercial & enterprise locations.

Transpacific Fiber Optic Cable, which is lumbered with the rather unimaginative name “Faster,” will have an initial capacity of 60 terabits per second. Faster (it’s not even an acronym!) will provide an important high-speed link from the west coast of the US to landing points in Japan, and then on to rapidly growing markets in China, India, Indonesia, and other Asian countries.

Faster, which gets its name from the fact that it’s faster than other trans-Pacific cables, will run from Portland in the US to Chikura and Shima in Japan. The cable will hop to hubs in Seattle and San Francisco in the US, and numerous locations in Asia. The Transpacific Fiber Optic Cable (http://pacificfiberopticcable.com/) is being paid for by six partners — and Google is the only one from the US. The other five members of the consortium are the usual who’s who of Asian telecoms: China Mobile International, China Telecom Global, Global Transit (pan-Asia), KDDI (Japan), and SingTel (pan-Asia).
