Pulsed Laser Wavelength Meter

Researchers who need to know the absolute wavelength of a CW laser, a pulsed laser, or an OPO can benefit from the use of the 821 Series Pulsed Laser Wavelength Meter from Bristol Instruments. This system employs proven Fizeau etalon-based technology to measure laser wavelength to an accuracy of ± 600 MHz. This performance is guaranteed with automatic calibration using a built-in wavelength standard resulting in the reliable accuracy that is required for the most demanding applications.

The model 821 is available in two broad wavelength configurations to satisfy most experimental requirements. These ranges are the VIS (350 - 1100 nm), and NIR (630 - 1700 nm). Automatic pulse detection triggers data collection for asynchronous operation. The wavelength of every pulse is measured with lasers operating at repetition rates of up to 200 Hz. At greater repetition rates, the 821 system integrates all pulses arriving within a 5 ms measurement window. Or, an external trigger can be used to capture individual pulses.
