Fiber Outside Plant Distribution Center In Ohio

Millennium Adds Additional Fiber Optic Distribution Center in Ohio

Lake Geneva, WI (PRWEB) - Millennium, a distributor of fiber optic network construction materials and installation and repair equipment has secured a warehouse and material storage yard at 41333 Schadden Rd. in Elyria, OH.

The majority of Millennium’s clients and strategic vendor partners have identified the Cleveland market as an underserved market as it relates to local inventory and service for small to mid sized contractors and end users. During the discovery phase by Millennium management, it was determined that many of the clients in this area would benefit from local inventory at a distributor with a commitment to their success and product education. Driven by the requirements of both strategic vendors and clients, Millennium chose a location close to major shipping lanes in all directions and will have stock of HDPE conduit, fiber optic cable, splice closures, panels and other passive network products.

The addition of this warehouse is consistent with Millennium’s vision to bring fiber optic construction materials closer to underserved markets, allowing clients to have local access to materials and expediting construction of projects such as fiber optic networks and intelligent transportation systems. The presence of this warehouse allows Millennium to effectively service the corridor between Toledo, Cincinnati and Cleveland with one-day deliveries from inventory. Portions of this corridor are also overlapped by the service areas of the Fenton, MI and Indianapolis, IN warehouses ensuring that client needs and expectations are consistently met. The local inventory will be driven by client and project requirements and it is expected that the facility will be fully stocked and operational by July 2015.
