APIC's optical photodiodes offer high linearity, high damage threshold, low phase noise and high responsivity for RFoF interconnects that require high dynamic range, high RF gain and low noise figure.
"We are introducing 3 grades of XLMD packaged 20 GHz photodiodes that are tailored to meet the demanding requirements of most RFoF applications. All 3 grades offer responsivity higher than 0.9 A/W and are rated for 25, 50 and 100mA of photo-current," said Dr. Anguel Nikolov, Senior Vice President at APIC Corporation. "The first two are available for immediate ordering and the third one will be available in the fall of 2015.
