Transition Networks' Conversion Center is a high-density, multi-protocol and multi-media converter mounting option. The Conversion Center has the ability to house up to 16 Transition Networks' Slide-in-Module media converters, in any configuration of protocols and in a wide variety of platforms. This flexibility, along with hot-swappable, redundant power, makes the Conversion Center the most reliable, cost-effective solution for many media interface problems.

Management Module
The Conversion Center's optional Management Module provides a means to remotely view complete information about the Conversion Center and all of its media converters. All this information is available through the graphical interface of TN-View or textually using any standard SNMP management application.

TN-View
TN-View provides an easy to us Graphical User Interface (GUI) to the Conversion Center through the use of the SNMP protocol. Each Slid-In-Module is graphically displayed showing the type of media converter in use, its location in the Conversion Center, and all of its status indicators.

A solution for every need
The Conversion Center supports these networking protocols— UTP to fiber conversions for: Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, ARCNet, ATM, FDDI, IBM 5250 & 3270, RS-232, T1/E1, Token Ring, as well as single mode to multimode fiber conversions for these and Gigabit Ethernet and OC-12 environments.
