"TRACERTAPE" is used for locating all dielectric systems and/or empty duct.
"TracerTape II"
Same as "TRACERTAPE" utilizing 2 - 24-AWG copper wires for use where the possibility of signal interference or jump over conditions when exposed to armor jacketed cables or other utility exposure is possible.
Recommended procedure - Bare & twist the conductors, connecting the two conductors to complete the circuit behind the bird or missile.
To locate - Ground one conductor and connect locating equipment to the other conductor to complete the signal loop and proceed with standard locating practices.
