The program, which launched earlier this year and now has 16 vendors in its membership, includes joint development, sales and marketing.

The SALIX 7000 family comprises an end-to-end portfolio of next-generation switching products. The SALIX 7720 and 7750 class-independent switches are designed to deliver enhanced telephony services over a converged network infrastructure. Based on open standards, such as the media gateway control protocol (MGCP), the SALIX 7720 and 7750 switches enable service providers to build more flexible and cost-effective networks than previously possible.
