The Soneplex Quad Loop Extender (QLX) Four-Position Remote Chassis houses up to four QLX modules and optional line termination unit, power supply unit, alarm processor unit and craft/performance monitoring module at the customer premises, for termination of two protected or unprotected Optical DS2 circuits (or up to eight DS1s). ADC's Soneplex system is the lowest total cost solution for carriers to grow their T1-based business services. Focused on providing flexible, end-to-end solutions, the Soneplex system saves carriers money on T1-based services over copper or fiber, using HDSL, ADSL, traditional T1 repeater or Optical DS2 technology, in a single platform. From operations, maintenance, provisioning and high-speed backbone connections to central office space and cabling, the Soneplex system is designed to take costs out of today's T1 delivery approach, adding profit to your bottom line. Modular wall mount chassis with optional 23" rack mount bracket
Operates on -48 VDC or 110 VAC with optional redundant power supplies
Remote alarm capability for major, minor, critical and eight housekeeping alarms
Local craft interface for remote access to performance monitoring information
Optional line termination unit provides DSX-1 access for local testing
