The Digital Lightwave Network Information Computer (NIC) product family provides comprehensive analysis of fiber-optic-based networks. NICs are used by leading telecommunications service providers and equipment manufactures to cost-effectively verify and qualify service during network installation, to identify potential problems and to troubleshoot deployed networks.

With the flexible, multifunctional NIC platform, customers can configure it to meet current needs and easily upgrade as their network evolves. Weighing 10 to 14 pounds, depending on the model, it is substantially lighter and easier to transport than competing test instruments. The NIC is also easy to use and intuitive, enabling technicians of any experience level to quickly and effectively install and maintain complex optical network technologies.

NIC ASA 312

The ASA 312 Network Information Computer, NIC ASA 312, can simultaneously test protocols from DS0 through OC-48c -- including ATM.

NIC 10G

The OC-192 version of the Network Information Computer, the NIC 10G, verifies and qualifies the performance of OC-192c SONET and DWDM telecommunications networks.

NIC 2.5G

The SDH/PDH version of the Network Information Computer, the NIC 2.5G, is an intuitive portable testing platform for international SDH, PDH and ATM networks.
