Headend 1310nm optical transmitters from C-COR.net have been designed expressly for demanding communications applications. A full range of models of these headend 1310nm
transmitters cover link loss budgets of 4 to 16dB for 80/110-channel NTSC, 60-channel PAL, and 42-channel CENELEC systems applications with a 47 to 862MHz frequency range.These compact amplitude-modulated transmitters are packaged as convenient plug-in modules and incorporate an RF driver, a DFB laser diode, advanced predistortion electronics, and a front panel-mounted RF monitor jack. A three-digit numeric display and easy-to-use pushbutton adjustments are provided for local monitoring of performance and control. For maximum flexibility, C-COR.net 1310nm transmitters are compatible with both the 1RU Universal Chassis, which accommodates two plug-in modules, and the 3RU Universal Chassis,which accommodates up to 12 plug-in modules. These 1310nm DFB optical transmitters are compatible with SNMP-compliant network management software and other open platforms.
