A module is available for mounting DIL packaged laser diodes in their LDM-4616 packages
ILX Lightwave available for mounting DIL packaged laser diodes in their LDM-4616 packages. Each module features four DIL laser diode sockets and up to four modules can be mounted in the LDM-4616 chassis, and they can be mixed with Butterfly packaged laser diode modules. Each socket provides electrical connections for laser drive current, photodiode feedback, TE cooler current, and thermistor sensor signals. It is suited for use in WDM signal sources when coupled with the company's multi-channel controller.
