Hitachi Metals new development, Integrated Power Monitoring is an ultra compact sized optical component which has been integrated in its function such as a conventional tap coupler, photo detector and microelectronics. It has a single channel device and multi-channel array, superior sensitivity and high reliability. It is utilized in the equipment for optical fiber communication devices where extremely small-size components are required for optical monitoring.
