The Graybar Storefront of Berk-Tekmark-1000 cable series is comprised of ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-A Category 5 compliant cables that are specified and tested to 500 MHz.
The cable series is characterized using power sum crosstalk. It introduces electrical performance parameters which address the needs of full duplex operation over four pairs. These electrical characteristics include: PS-NEXT, PS-ACR, and PS-EL FEXT and LCL/LCTL (balance).
The cable is intended for high speed data applications including:
- 1000 Base T
- ATM 155 Mbps, ATM 622 Mbps
- FDDI/CDDI 100 Mbps
- Ethernet 100 Base TX, 100 Base VG
