The Fiber Optic Test Kits include major components necessary for testing and measurement of single and multimode fiber optic cable. Regardless of whether testing is being done on a corporate LAN, or over several kilometers of fiber around the campus, the test kits will provide all the tools needed to do the job right. The custom-designed kits range from the 850nM LAN set, perfect for the multimode environment, to the Combo-Kit which includes a Laser source, Dual-LED source, and a triple meter for testing any kind of fiber.
Every kit contains one of the power meters: 850, 1310, 1550nM singles, duals, or triples, and single or dual light sources, which are among the smallest and lightest units around. Since they're rechargeable (LED model), users can work all day on a single charge.
