Gnubi Communications, Inc.is an Optical Receiver that supports SONET protocols at OC-12 and OC-3 rates. The addition of an EPX750 Payload Monitor forms a fully functional optical signal monitor.

Section and Line level error and alarm monitoring are provided by the EPX700. Gnubi Communications, Inc.provides an optical power meter for signal strength indication.

Like all EPX16 test modules, Gnubi Communications, Inc.can be run remotely via any Web browser or customer developed software.

Gnubi Communications, Inc.monitor section (B1) and line (B2) errors and LOS, LOF, and SEF alarms. With the EPX750 Payload Monitor, Gnubi Communications, Inc.monitors Line and Path AIS, RDI-P, and Loss of Synch alarms. Also, with the Payload Monitor, Gnubi Communications, Inc.can measure Line and Path FEBE, path (B3), and Payload Bit errors.

The EPX750 also enables pointer activity monitoring.
