Gnubi Communications, Inc.is an Optical Transmitter that supports SONET protocols at OC-12 and OC-3 rates. The addition of an EPX650 Payload Generator forms a fully functional optical signal generator.

Gnubi Communications, Inc.supports payload mapping. Gnubi Communications, Inc.data source is either the EPX700 (for a regenerator application) or the EPX650 (for a generator application). In both cases, Gnubi Communications, Inc.is capable of inserting errors and alarms into the data stream, including Random, section (B1), and line (B2) errors and LOS, LOF, and SEF alarms.

Gnubi Communications, Inc.has the following wavelength and output power configurations:

1310 nm -10 dBm

1310 nm -3 dBm

1310 nm 0 dBm

1550 nm 0 dBm

Like all EPX16 test modules, Gnubi Communications, Inc.can be run remotely via any Web browser or customer developed software.
