Gnubi Communications, Inc.is an OC-48 Optical Transmitter Module designed for the EPX16 Multichannel Telecom Tester. Gnubi Communications, Inc.generates an OC-48 signal consisting of a single STS-48c payload containing a common PRBS or an 8-bit user word. GR-253 compliant optical interfaces are available with multiple connector types.

Seventeen EPX400s can be installed in one EPX16 Tester providing an expandable, multichannel test solution. LOS, LOF, LPS, and SEF alarm conditions can be inserted. Errors in the physical layer signal and B1 section overhead byte can be injected at rates or as a single event.

Gnubi Communications, Inc.inserts section (B1), line (B2), path (B3), random, and Payload Bit errors. It also inserts LOS, LOF, SEF, and LPS alarms.
