Is there an upgrade in your future? The VERSITRON "Double-Duty" Media Converter will do 10Base ethernet or 100Base fast ethernet protocols. If you are a current "10base user", this converter will work for now and for a later upgrade to 100base. The M727x complies with 802.3 10baseT, 802.3u 100baseTX/100BaseFX, 802.3x flow control, and can extend your network span to 40km over singlemode fiber.
Other features include 10/100Mbps auto negotiation on the TP port, auto MAC address learning and 4,096 MAC address table entries, and store and forward technology. This product carries a lifetime warranty.
