CENiX™ Announces First Shipments of its UNiPAK™.10 DWDM Subsystem to Global Customers

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA and IRVINE, CA > July 9, 2001- CENiX Inc., a leader in the design and automated manufacture of next generation high-speed optoelectronic interfaces, today announced the first shipments of a new subsystem that delivers 10 Gbit/s bandwidth in a single footprint for intermediate and long-reach DWDM and TDM applications. The UNiPAK.10, a highly integrated optical subsystem family, includes a 10 Gbit/s 1.55µm EML optical transmitter, a 10 Gbit/s PIN or APD optical receiver and a 16-channel Serializer/Deserializer.
