Developed primarily to give the same pulling properties as with the 100% Aramid construction
Developed primarily to give the same pulling properties as with the 100% Aramid construction, but at a lower cost. Aramid fibers are mechanically blended with high tenacity polyester fibers. These tapes are available with a silicone lubricant, which is compatible with the lubricant used in the manufacture of innerduct and greatly reduces the possibility of burn-through. The tapes are also available with printed sequential footage markings for accurate measurements. Reel lengths are available from 3,000 feet to 100,000 feet.
