4 Source + Power Meter + Fault Finder Fiber Optic Tester

Cercis 6120 Series contains 1 - 4 sources, with an optical power meter and visual fault finder within a 1/4-rack-mount or benchtop instrument. An RS-232 port allows data transfer to or control by a PC. This instrument is a versatile and cost-effective alternative for use in quality control, manufacturing or prototyping of active and passive fiber optic components. Customization is available to incorporate additional functions or PASS/FAIL criteria.
Cercis 6120 Series contains up to 4 sources, an optical power meter, and visual fault finder within a 1/4-rack-mount or benchtop instrument. An RS-232 port allows data transfer to or control by a PC. The sources can vary by type (LASER/VCSEL/LED) or fiber (single- or multi-mode) or output power (-10 to 3 dBm varies by device type). A fource source unit can contain a 850 nm VCSEL, a 1300 nm SLED, and 1310 and 1550 nm Fabry-Perot LASERs, or four CWDM DFB (Distributed Feedback) LASERs - i.e. 1490, 1530, 1570, & 1610 nm. The optical power meter includes a graphic display, readout: autoranging nW, uW, mW + dBm and dB, with reference store. Optical interface to each source is interchangeable adapter (FC, SC, ST) or fixed FC (PC or APC); the power meter uses an interchangeable adapter (choose from: FC, ST, SC, 2.5 mm, LC, SMA, MU, V-pin) - as used in Cercis handheld instruments. Customization is available to incorporate additional functions or PASS/FAIL criteria.
