Micro Networks has developed a series of low voltage Master Clock Oscillators that feature just 2 ps rms phase jitter for timing applications at frequencies of up to 800 MHz in high performance telecommunications and computer systems.

The M103 series of Master Clock Oscillators (MCOs) build on Micro Networks world-leading capability in jitter performance and skew control to provide a precise, stable clock source in either a SMT or DIP package. Optimum jitter obtained in the 50-ohm environment standard in most applications. The low voltage (3.3 V) PECL logic of the M103 series MCOs enables hardware engineers to meet the increasingly demanding frequency control specifications of state-of-the-art and first generation products. The M103 series also has excellent temperature stability, with < 30 ppm variation from 0 – 70 C at frequencies up to 800 MHz.

The design of M103 modules has been optimized for use in products including servers and mainframes in the high-speed computer industry and base stations, networks, and switches in the telecommunications industry. In fact, any application that processes data at high frequencies and requires precise timing will benefit from the M103 series of Master Clock Oscillators. OEM delivery is from stock to 18 weeks ARO.
