C-COR.net offers a full range of 1550nm EDFAs with optical power from +14 to +21dBm. All models include built-in input and output isolators. 1550nm EDFAs offer superior noise figure and moderately flat gain response over a wide range of optical wavelength and optical input power. The spectral range is from 1530nm to 1565nm and the input power operating range is from -10dBm to +10dBm, permitting the use of 1550nm EDFAs in both digital and CATV applications.
LED displays and controls permit observation of key operation parameters to aid in system installation and maintenance. The 3RU plug-in module may be used in the C-COR.net Universal Chassis and occupies a single slot in the chassis.
1550nm EDFAs are compatible with SNMP-compliant
network management software and other open platforms.
